Come and meet us !

Bois Mozé, respect for the earth and desire for innovation.

Bois Mozé has good vibes : you feel right at home here ! You immediately fall under the spell of serenity that emanates from this special place.

Enter our cellar, walk through the vines, visit the Manor… have a chat with our team and taste our East Side, Blanc Secret, Champ Noir or Jean-Joseph wines.

These easy-to-enjoy wines are the reflection not only of our desire to produce wines for the pleasure they procure, but also of the sheer hard work that goes into making them.

At Bois Mozé, our work is driven by the passion and strong values we have in common, and which you can sense in the atmosphere throughout the estate.

Mathilde Giraudet

Mathilde was born the year Georges Harrison sang My Sweet Lord!

Passionate about the Anjou region, she easily gets her local accent back as soon as she returns to her native land!

Her philosophy of life: “The early bird catches the worm” !

She adores: nature and gardening, but above all, simplicity.

She dislikes: deceit and dishonesty.

Her wildest dream would be to have a second life to achieve what she couldn’t do in the first one!

 Her favourite wine?

Mathilde is a big fan of Chenin – the only white grape variety planted in our vineyard. She easily sets her sights on our Château Rousset (Côteaux de l’Aubance). Her ultimate favourite is the 2011 vintage which offers delightful aromas of quince and honey!

Our winemaker definitely recommends tasting it with blue cheeses and bitter, dark chocolate desserts.

Benoist Hérault

Benoist was born in the year which, according to Serge Gainsbourg, was very “erotic”!
This young middle-aged man can easily be taken for a certain handsome American actor known for saying “What else”!

His philosophy of life: “Act without expecting anything in return” (Lao Tseu).

He loves : his family, sport and above all, new challenges – especially at work, with organic and biodynamic trials.

He dislikes : carelessness and injustice.

His wildest dream would be to roam the GR20 trekking trail in Corsica with his two sons.

His favorite cuvée ?

Jean Joseph vintage 2011 ! Aged in barrels, this powerful Anjou Villages, with notes of coconut and vanilla, is supple and silky on the palate.

Ideal with racy meats, barbecued beef ribs or strong cheeses. You can also dare atypical combinations with dark chocolate desserts.

François Giraudet - Domaine de Bois Mozé

François Giraudet

If he were an animal it would definitely be a sparrow, that enchants us with its chirping every day.

His philosophy of life: “We do not own the Earth, it is up to us to respect our land.”

He likes: sport, especially sea fishing (a pure Mons man, his Vendée origins and expressions resurface from time to time!)

He dislikes: people who are disrespectful of what they are given.

His wildest dream would be to climb a high mountain, why not Kilimanjaro to start with!

His favourite cuvée ?

Blanc Secret, our delicate Crémant de Loire, made according to the ancestral method, fermented in barrels, and which reveals a great aromatic complexity.

Ideal with shellfish, fine fish or scallop tartar with lime zest. But if you prefer simplicity, surprise your guests by serving it as an aperitif.

Anouk Kerouanton

Anouk was born the same year Daft Punk took us around the world.
Legend has it that it was never easy for this Normandy girl to integrate into her native region with such a surname.

Her philosophy of life : “After the rain, comes the good weather”.
Her hobbies : manga, Greek mythology and, above all, moving to Chausey.
Dislikes : grumpy people and goat’s cheese.

Her wildest dream: to live in Japan or Latin America.

Her favorite wine ?

Rose Emoi 2023, a wine with a gourmand nose and a lively, fresh palate. The blend of Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc gives us a rosé with aromas of grapefruit, red fruit and Krema candy.

Olivier de Bois Mozé

Olivier Le Bos

Olivier is the year when the girls want to have fun (Cindy Lauper).
Formerly a loyal seasonal worker, Olivier has been with Le Bois Mozé since 2023. We still don’t know if it’s for his efficiency at work or for his mouth-watering cakes…

His philosophy of life: “Take life in stride, calmly, without any headaches!”
He likes: Hiking with his family, juggling, making excellent cakes for his colleagues!
He doesn’t like: People who take the advantage of others, and ox tongue.

His wildest dream is to visit his aunt in Scotland!

His favorite vintage ?

Clos de Lorette 2020, a dry Chenin on schist, aged in barrels! This cuvée is ideal for gourmet meals, such as shrimp a la plancha or chicken legs with teriyaki sauce.

Benoit Cousin

Benoit was born the year Blondie invited us to call him whenever we wanted.
This musician, formerly a graphic designer, is called Petit Benoit because of the order in which he joined the team: yes, we managed to have 2 Benoits out of a team of 6!

His life philosophy: “When you want it, you can do it, if you give yourself the means! “.
He likes: His daughters, music, natural wines, chenin Fan de chenin, good food with friends.
Dislikes: Contempt, jealousy and egocentricity.

His wildest dreams: Passing his glider test and reliving the original Woodstock 1969.

His favorite vintage ?

Clair de Terre 2020, a surprising, gourmet wine, 100% chenin with no added sulfites!
Ideal for aperitifs with friends, and with dry goat’s cheeses or aged Comté cheeses.
